Little Bags of Hope Fundraising Calendar 2017

Each year we try to come up with different ideas to raise money so that we can continue to supply bags to children going into care. This year the committee decided to try something completely different and seeing as Little Bags of Hope is based around children, we came up with the idea of a children’s fairytale fantasy calendar.

What started out as a simple idea grew in mammoth proportions but we are absolutely delighted with the finished product. Of course these things don’t just happen and we were very lucky we had the help of an amazing artist/photographer ….jade Tonkin of Photography Dreamz. Not only did Jade donate all her time taking the pictures and editing etc she also designed and hand painted all the sets. Now as we know all hugely talented people need very organised assistants ……..and this is where the skills of our President Catherine Higgins came in. Catherine organised all the bookings and worked through every weekend of photo shoots, cuddling and soothing babies, entertaining toddlers, changed and arranged sets and so on. Of course we had our ladies who made sure that Jade and Catherine were “fed and watered” through the day! What a team!
